The story created off those events was well told and emotional. This one really hit home as it followed the events of September 11, 2001. Tied the three stories up nicely together and I loved how all the books were so closely connected. As romances go, it's far more complex than most, taking the overtones of love and transforming them into a family saga that succeeds in overcoming the effects of war and even terrorism to probe the nature of an uncommon link between ancestors, fate, and death-defying love.Īudiences who like their romances complex and winding will find in this book (and likely the rest of the series) a rare gem. Not having read the others, this reviewer finds Find Me Again a rare dance between generations who share a common purpose and a promise.

So far, nothing new - except that the promise was made during the Civil War, when one lay dying, and fate has led to yet another dying man's wish to join two families together in Find Me Again, the grand finale to the series. Over a hundred years ago two lovers promised to always be together, throughout eternity. It's rare to come upon Book Three in a series (the first two books were not seen by this reviewer) and find in it a story that is quick to involve, and absorbing without needing prior familiarity with its predecessors but Find Me Again holds the capability of standing well alone as well as enhancing the overall series, and that's a rare quality, indeed.

and the rest of the characters will be up to next. Even more family connections are discovered as the book goes along.Īn intriguing ending has you wondering what A.R.C. The intricate family connections are staggering, and it does help that this book includes family trees. There is also an element of danger as an ex-CIA agent is hunting various members of the family for his own gains.

The tension really builds as Taylor and Jace each separately try to track down their family history, finding bit by bit that they are destined to meet and fulfill their ancestors' wishes. While their ancestors were involved in the Civil War and World War II, this generation is caught up in the events leading to and after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Zack Keens, new recruit to the CIA, is also living up to the brave women in her past who have served their country in times of war. Jace Bowen is a traveling nurse, carrying on the legacy of the women in her family who have been nurses and healers. Taylor Shaw is the latest in a long line of journalists who go into harm's way to cover wars. This is a satisfying ending to the White-Shaw, Bowen, and Keens family saga that spans across three couples and three periods of war.
